Previous Social Events

For the second year running our festive event was held on Hello Sailor's boat. We departed Yas Marina and headed down the coast on a beautiful sunny afternoon. There were lots of games and our resident DJ Nipples and Nuts was on the decks - both the boat and music ones! There was even a Hash naming with One Ball Down gaining his new name after jumping from the boat! The after party continued at Yas until late.

The caravan of vehicles made it to the campsite early afternoon and promptly set up camp before the run commenced. There were several activity stops around the desert route ..

Not far from the city is this muddy place, where a trail was laid for our adventurous hashers.

After recently discovering that a friend of the Hash, Hello Sailor owns a boat it wasn’t too long before a trip was booked and we were setting sail.  The usual suspects were there, Jaws, Teaboy, Jack Off Daniels, Threeway, Fainting Sex Goat, Ras Al Hymen, Camel Dump and Wet Trail to name a few but also some of our new hashers. Old Shag joined us from the Desert Hash in Dubai and in true hasher style the boat was loaded with all the necessaries.

A small group of Hashers, namely; Knob Jockey, The Spinster, Golden Showers, More Cushion for the Pushin’, Frankenfurter’s B*tch, Downward Dog, Teaboy, Shag ‘n Fly and What She Said enjoyed a few over-priced (but appreciated) beers and GnT’s onboard the retired ocean liner, and now floating hotel, the QE2.

It was a very elegant setting (well it was until we showed up) and wine and laughter flowed in equal measures.
